A Life in Music: Second Sight

This is almost like 2000s In Cahoots with John Etheridge sitting in, and doing a great job of replacing Phil, faultlessly playing the seemingly endless series of complex chords that underpin the main theme, one of several bass features written by Phil (originally for Richard Sinclair, who also played fretless), then effortlessly soloing over the same sequence. Also joining in is a three-man section of Simon Picard on tenor sax and Jim Dvorak and Kevin Davey on trumpets. Pete Lemer contributes a piano solo on this lively and spirited rendition of another perennial InCa favourite – this was played at virtually all of the band’s gigs throughout its nearly three-decade existence.
