Oh, the correct date would have to be 29 September 1972 as indicated on the cassette spine.
The venue this was at is said to be The Dome.

Thus, another possible line-up is the one of the live recordings added as bonus tracks to the Cuneiform reissue of Miller/Coxhill Coxhill/Miller “The Story So Far…” “…Oh Really?”: Delivery, The Playhouse Theatre, London, November 23, 1972 = Phil Miller (guitar), Lol Coxhill (soprano sax), Richard Sinclair (vocals), Roy Babbington (bass), Pip Pyle (drums). No flute though.

On the cassette spine I read some handwritten names: they seem to be “Laurie Lol Steve”.
Thus, they could be Laurie Allan, Lol Coxhill and Steve Miller.

I read that “In August 1972, Steve Miller resurrected Delivery with a line-up of himself, his brother Phil, Pip Pyle and Richard Sinclair on bass, which resulted in a couple of tracks on the Coxhill-Miller album released the following year”.
Maybe in this Brighton gig of September 29th, 1972, we have almost the same line-up, with Laurie Allan instead of Pip Pyle.
No doubt there is a bass player too; and he might well be Richard Sinclair, especially if you consider the singing you can hear from 6:41 and from 42:01.
There is also a flute but I don’t remember Coxhill ever playing a flute (except on a couple of tracks of his vey first album, Ear of Beholder). On the other hand, in the Brighton gig I don’t hear a soprano saxophone until 12:28. Then it disappears again at 16:12 (until around 32:20, for a few minutes), while we have the flute back around 23:47 and around 39:40.
ah, those names refer to the other side of the cassette and is who you said – what you say about richard’s vocals does make a lot of sense though as does the noting of the flute and soprano – we are certainly closer to figuring it all out – thanks

fantastic quality too, considering the age – would love to know more too, but all we have was what was written on the cassette cover
