Phil’s birthday is on 22nd of this month. He would have been 77 years old if he had lived.
Here is the painting of him I am working on at the moment but have not quite finished.
The Opus page I have chosen to feature for his birthday is Truly Yours. Phil wrote this ballad for me in 1986. You can find it on the CD Split Second, released in 1989 track 4. You can also hear I remain on track 6. These two pieces go togther. Sometimes they were played together as the Truly Yours suite.
I think of him a lot. He wrote some wonderful music.
