This year’s Phil Miller Guitar Prize event features the debut performance of the Phil Miller Legacy Band, a jazz rock group co-curated by Fred Thelonious Baker of Soft Machine fame and Birmingham drum legend Jim Bashford.
The band of RBC Jazz students playing with Fred and Jim are working through the rich seam of repertoire from the Phil Miller Legacy site and will be performing their own creative take on various recordings and compositions collected there.
6.30pm Phil Miller Legacy Band led by Fred T Baker and Jim Bashford
7.45pm The GUITAR PRIZE.
